Graduate Program in Animal Biology

The goal of the Animal Biology Graduate Program is to offer opportunities for research and learning in one of the following Concentration Areas:

- Animal Biodiversity (Master and Doctorate Degrees)

- Anthropic Relations, Environment and Parasitology (Master and Doctorate Degrees)

Understanding host-parasite-environment interactions and animal biodiversity is key to develop affirmative actions for the well being of society. Our Program covers research areas involving several animal models, including vertebrates, arthropods, marine organisms, protozoan and helminth parasites, fungi and insects of medical importance. Faculty affiliated to the Graduate Program in Animal Biology are encouraged to nurture our graduate students in a critical, ethical and multidisciplinary way.
